  30. No kidding, if you add some extra buffers to the partition holding the PDF 
  31. should make GS a bit happier.
  32. Do you get blank pages or does it stop after telling you how many pages you 
  33. have?
  34. You can try converting to a PS file and see what the output is, if any.
  35. I have a feeling that what you'll see is a line of text with a page number and 
  36. a title but no data for as many pages the document has.
  37. If I remember correctly it is the way GS tells that the PDF has some encrypted 
  38. data which it won't process.
  39. Thats the reason I want to know where you got that PDF. I'm in the beta test 
  40. program of GS and the newer ones have a descriptive error message for this.
